Actually I’ve since heard other rumours on the SCAR front. That essentially the initial over-eager importer jumped too early and brought in “movie rifles” with full auto components. Hence the current FRT.

Hey TV-press pass, although this statement is 100% true. It is not really why the prohibited the SCAR. It’s 100% on looks, the FN ps90 can take the parts from the original p90. So that whole argument about “because it could possibly go full auto” is just for the media. They don’t actually have criteria like that at the RCMP firearm classification lab… If they don’t want it coming in… it won’t nuf said. I even remember watching one of Rod’s video’s from Civil advantage and he explained how a friend used the access to information act to find out how they originally created the prohibited list. They literally went through a magazine.. pointing at pictures of guns they didn’t like… Disgusting that our law’s are based on that.
