Great advice about modifying the P-Mags, I do that I find they run more consistently in every platform. Rather than file I just use a heavy utility knife, much quicker and gives a nice clean squared opening. Then only reason for that round profile is for the ejection moulding, it’s a draft angle which allows it to be removed easier from the die, they would have to institute a trim die to properly mimic the USGI mags, thus more cost and time. It does seem they are aware of the problem because the new Gen 3’s are square.
