I have been impressed by the updated Gen 2 mags, but have yet to shoot them myself. Personally I like the little maple leaf.

The Gen 2 Press Check Mags are now out and have been shortened and no longer have a rivet. They are inferior to PMags as far as ease of use and build quality thou as well as cost. But it does return some sanity to range time, no one wants to stop and reload after 5 rounds.

While those magazines are available, there exists the potential for legal issues with them. Considering that Press Check has warned "due to a quality control tolerance issue, some PCV-50 mags MAY hold more than 5 rounds of .50 calibre ammunition. To be on the safe side, we are asking all customers to install a 1/8" diameter, 1/4" length rivet on the spine as shown in the attached picture. If you are not comfortable with this, please send us an email immediately and we will forward you a shipping label so that you can return your mags to us free of charge. We will then return your mag(s) to you with a rivet properly installed." When taken in the context of RCMP Bulletin No. 86 that casts serious doubt on their long-term legality.

Yes, I too am of the opposite opinion, rather than hide it, FLAUNT IT.

Let everyone know about the 50 cal mags, the Tavor being non restricted, etc etc.

Get as MANY people as possible to buy them.

It is harder to confiscate 10,000 rifles than it is 100, you annoy that many more honest law abiding citizens.
